Todd E. Jones worked in advertising design and production in the early 1980s before becoming a technical writer for Space Craft Industries. In 1985, Todd began using the Internet as a mechanism for sharing information with fellow technologists around the world. Immediately, Todd grasped the potential of Internet technologies for opening up user-driven global communication channels. By the late '80s, Todd began working for Nortel Networks as a technical writer, but soon evolved his role into that of a systems analyst. In this role, Todd began programming filters for moving data from antiquated mainframe systems into various markup languages, including precursors to HTML. This intimate knowledge of markup language nuance and the relationship to page design provided a natural foundation for implementing evolving web coding technologies. In the early '90s Todd developed a suite of authoring and publishing tools that greatly extended the power of Interleaf software. Todd's enhanced toolset enabled unattended automated compilation and publishing of thousands of pages of customer information each hour for distribution via CD ROMs, Internet, Intranet and good old paper. Rising through the management ranks at Nortel, Todd became Senior Manager for Nortel's Training and Documentation Tools organization, overseeing team efforts at automated language translations, publishing XML source to clients world wide, and developing on-product help from single sourced data. With more than two decades of business analysis, internet technology and customer service experience, Todd launched Eno Media to integrate his complementary interests in creative design, innovative programming, and establishing internet identities.
